The Traubs met in 1975 on a blind date during Will’s last year of studies at Westminster Theological Seminary and were married in 1976. The Traubs have two grown sons: Will Jr., Dietrich.  Both Will and Judi were raised in Christian homes where foreign missions were promoted, and missionaries were often guests.  Will was the pastor of Peace Reformed Church in Loveland, Colorado, and Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, in Blacksburg, Virginia, prior to leaving for Germany where they served from 1988-2000.  From 2000-2012 will served as Coordinator of Theological Education for MTW Europe traveling into Eastern Europe and Central Asia to help provide theological education for emerging training centers.

Judi is responsible for overseeing Wee Rascals, an outreach ministry of St. Peter’s Free Church for toddlers and their care-givers.  On average, there are 15-20 toddlers plus care-givers each week, most of whom have no other contact with the church, thus providing numerous opportunities for building relationships and conversations.  Will’s ministry in Scotland has two major areas of focus.  First, as an Elder in St. Peter’s Free Church in Dundee, he assists with various aspects of local ministry and organization in the congregation.  Second, he is a lecturer in OT at Edinburgh Theological Seminary (the seminary of the Free Church of Scotland), teaching third year students, training a new generation of pastors and church-planters for Scotland.
