COVID-19 and Sunday Services – Updated 9/18/20
Dear Church Family,
With thanksgiving for the Lord’s protection we have resumed assembling for Sunday School, Fellowship Dinners, and prayer meetings. We will continue to evaluate the situation.
We continue to assemble for public worship on the Lord’s Day at our regularly scheduled services. Those who have medical conditions that may put you at greater risk of serious illness may want to remain at home. Any who have observable upper respiratory symptoms themselves or in the family should remain at home. Those who have traveled to areas experiencing higher incidents of infection by Covid-19 should remain at home for a time. The back three rows of pews on the ground floor are reserved exclusively for those wearing masks. Mask wearers are at liberty to sit anywhere in the sanctuary.
For those remaining at home you can watch the live stream of our services here.
Psalm 91:2-6 says,
“I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.’ Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence…You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.”
We must not live in fear of the pestilence that walks in darkness, but must serve the Lord in the midst of this threat.
